Dividing the Wedding Tasks

Most magazines and websites about weddings are focused on the coronation of the bride, but how about the groom? In the Philippines weddings are not just only a special day for the bride, but for the couple. A wedding can never be a wedding without two persons involved, so too much for the whole bride thing. In planning a wedding the couple should be involved in the decision making process and work hand-in-hand to point out some of their preferences. Dividing tasks can be both fun and efficient, in that way the couple should be more prepared than just doing things alone.

In a Philippine setting, weddings are commonly traditional, which means more tasks to accomplish. You can start by diving tasks whether it is a joint task, his tasks, and her tasks. This way you can narrow down all the preparations needed for the big day and somehow buy some extra time to shake off the pressure during the whole process.

You should divide it according to each of your inclinations and strengths. If your bride to be loves music, then let her take care of it and on the other hand, if you are into photography then you should be arrange that part. Never forget to divide the tasks equally, you can either help out or throw some inputs on certain parts.

In the Philippines your closest friends and relatives are known to be involved in the planning. You can take this as an advantage, but never leave everything to them. Of course you need that personal touch, to make that special day one of a kind.

Starting your planning early will give you enough time to resolve the unavoidable hitches that should be expected.Make a list of all the events and put a timetable on each. Make a list of all the wedding accessories that need to be attended to and of course members of the family is a big help…you can assign members of your family and close friends to be in charge of each one.
