In the Philippines weddings are mainly traditional, but sometimes redundancy takes away the uniqueness of the ceremony. Even with the country’s rich culture, you can still mix things up to make the wedding unique yet traditional. One of the main aspects in planning a wedding is setting up a preferred style. Now, at least when you were a kid you had some dreams of having a particular wedding style, this should help a lot in the process. Of course the wedding is a unity of two, so both the couple should decide what style to follow.

There are different wedding styles and the most common in the Philippines is the traditional. Wherein, you see the couple walking down the church aisle with all the closest friends and relatives in attendance.

Another is the Formal. This is the sophisticated type in which couples are more particular on the elegance of the ceremony. The setting can be in a first class ballroom or in an elegant restaurant with the classical music background.

For those who want simple, they can also go for the Casual. This is the backyard type of wedding. It can be in garden, a living room or just about anywhere that offers a cozy feel and simplicity. This type is also the more laidback style and could be cheaper than most other styles.

There are even other types, depending on your preferences. The bottom line is that you should not just go with the conformity of the ceremony. You always have a choice to make the wedding more solemn, fun, and unforgettable.
