In the Philippines there is also such a thing as a wedding season. Mostly it’s between June and July. Since, selecting a date for the wedding is one of the first to tackle in planning for the big day and you should consider the date, the month, and its significance. Remember that you have 365 days in a year and you only get to choose one particular day for that special moment. Aside from going with the wedding season, a common date for the couples is their anniversary or on the day they first met, this is the safest and somehow more romantic way to choose a date.

The wedding date plays a huge role in the whole wedding process. As you set the date, you will also start putting on your plans as it will affect everything. Say you choose a month that is abundant on flowers or it’s a peak season for the hotels, these are also great factors that can affect the flow of your plan and the budget as you set that particular date.
If you are on a tight budget, it’s an obvious move to stay away from the month of June. Because in the Philippines many are getting wed during those months, which only means that flowers are expensive and so as the other things related to weddings. Try to pick a date that is significant for the both of you and at the same time convenient for your plans to go smoothly.
