Makeup by Ria Redor

Ria credits mineral makeup as the instrument that opened her eyes in makeup artistry. By sheer accident she discovered what makeup can do for her and from then on she became hooked.

She finished her course in Artistic Makeup December 2008 while juggling her work as a Market Researcher. She became a full time makeup artist April 2009. As a makeup artist she is known to be very versatile and for her ability to work fast but still delivering impecable results. A bride was pleasantly surprised when she did her makeup in less than 15 minutes and right there and then booked her on the spot.

Bridal makeup is her forte. “ I love weddings, it fulfills me as a Makeup Artist. “There is no equal amount of joy whenever I see my brides glowing and radiant. Makeup when used correctly can do wonders for anyone. I believe that it is best saved for special occassions and should be used sparingly.”

She mainly uses MAC Cosmetics for she truly believes in the product. She is also known for her inventive use of materials. “A truly good product should be used multiple ways. I am not restricted by rules. I am continously evolving and trying out new techniques for I want to be known as an artist and not just someone who do things by the book.”
